The Boston Calling music festival is back for the 2025 season, and changes are coming following complaints at last year’s festival.
“We are back at Harvard May 23-25, 2025, and we’ve been working hard to elevate your experience and enhance the value of your ticket!” organizers said in a social media post-Thursday morning.
The changes come after concertgoers reported safety concerns, including overcrowding and medical emergencies.
The festival organizers announced that ticket costs will be going down for 2025. Last year, a one-day general admission ticket was $189, and a pass for all three days cost $383.
The two main stages will become one rating state to provide better views, more space to roam and enhance the audio/video experience for guests.
An indoor air-conditioned arena will also return as well and more water stations will be added.
The lineup for the festival will be released on Monday, January 6.
This is a developing story. Check back for updates as more information becomes available.
